Many thanks for the beautiful patterns which I'll use for gifts for friends' babies. At my knitting club here in a small welsh (UK) village, two ninety-year-olds love knitting the bootees their own generation put their babies in. However 'modern' babies don't wear bootees. We send dozens of garments and knitted toys to HIV-AIDS orphanages in the developing world. Any ideas which countries welcome baby-bootees? We have sackfuls!! LOVE the idea of CRAFTHOPE forums Greetings and happy charity crafting to all from North Wales. Jennyxx
As a newbie knitter I was a little nervous about knitting a beanie, but it's EASY! I used a pattern suggested in CraftHope comments: ->link<- from one skein of worsted weight yarn I've made 5 beanies. I can easily knit one a night (sometimes 2!). 9 ready to send off to Jade. Then I'm going to try Isabella's sewn booties!
I don't knit and I know the project deadline is too soon for anyone else to make them, but this pattern is SOOOOOO cute! Maybe there will be another project involving booties that someone can use this for. ->link<-
I propose not to hold off until you get enough money to buy all you need! You can just take the business loans or short term loan and feel free
